Let's talk about a waste of time!
Under no circumstances should you subject yourself to this film, then again, I'm sure someone somewhere is going to enjoy this so I guess at this point it's safe to say, check out my opinions on movies and see if you concur, because my opinion of this film is not a good one.
This is one of those cases where the marketing of the film promises an experience the film cannot deliver on, because when I first saw the trailer for this movie I thought that this was going to be good one. It's Liam Neeson after all, in a high octane film which has all the potential in premise and appearance to be equatable with Taken (the first one, the second one not so much, although even that fiasco ain't as bad as this piece of Oh-my-hat-I-wish-I-could-erase-it-from-memory-and-magically-reclaim-the-time-I've-lost).
This is going to be a short one because, I don't want to waste anymore time on Non-Stop than I already have, I want to move on to better and greener pastures.
The story goes like this...
My wife and I have very different tastes when it comes to movie watching. I like Horrors and Sci-Fi, Drama's and Thrillers, I enjoy Comedies and Fantasy, I love movies of all varieties and genres - my wife, she likes Chick-Flicks and Action Thrillers, only (getting Marvel into the picture has been a blessing and every now and then I get to watch something that she would not normally appreciate but then she does).
This movie had all the ingredients to entertain both of us equally. It's got a great cast, including Julianne Moore, Michelle Dockery (she of Downton Abbey fame), and even Lupita Nyong'o (I just can't believe she went from 12 Years a Slave to this), and Liam Neeson of course... The Mrs loves Liam Neeson, and the movie sits in that area of Action Thriller she enjoys (24 is her favourite TV show, well that and now Marvel Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. - which I think is somewhat of a let down), anywho, Friday came and we felt like watching a movie, something to entertain us...
When my wife exclaims that a movie like this is a piece of crap, with the fact that she is essentially the viewership who should enjoy this movie, you know that this movie is exactly what she says it is.
(and trust me when I say that this story was more entertaining than what happened on screen)

I'm just going to leave it right here, here's a trailer (Don't be fooled like I was)...
